We've been experimenting at Artisan Kitchen and the creations are amazing! Our very own cheesecake specialist Brooks Park was tasked with a peanut butter cheesecake. It may have been on the menu at some point and time but none of us could remember it! So Brooks elaborated on the basic cheesecake recipe-- adding a dash of this and a dash of that and lots and lots of creamy peanut butter. Cake Artist Jean Schrage gave it a whipped chocolate ganache topping with Reece's Cup pieces!!!!!!! The "taste-testing team" tried it and agreed that he's onto something wonderful! And VOILA...a new cheesecake sensation was created at Artisan Kitchen!
We owe this phenomenal new cheesecake flavor to Christy Stanley, who wanted to surprise her daughter Jasmin for her 20th birthday. First she ordered a chocolate cake but soon called back to change her order. She said her daughter wanted a peanut butter cheesecake and asked if we could do it? Never backing down from any culinary challenge, Brooks and the tasting team soon turned out the most perfect peanut butter cheesecake known to man!
"It was amazing...simply decadent!" said Christy Stanley.

In the bakery today, we are featuring several whole cakes--Old Fashioned Yellow with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting, Double Fudge Rum Raspberry and French Vanilla Butternut! By the slice we have Orange Dreamscicle and Italian Cream Cake! We have cheesecakes by the slice, too. Apricot Amaretto and Kahlua cheesecake!!!!!! Of course, we have our dessert bars--chess, pecan pie, caramel pecan, derby and our newest banana-milk chocolate-- and cookies!
